Notes on a parley

Stevie Smith - Not Waving But Drowning
Nobody heard him, the dead man,
But still he lay moaning:
I was much further out than you thought
And not waving but drowning.

Poor chap, he always loved larking
And now he's dead
It must have been too cold for him his heart gave way,
They said.

Oh, no no no, it was too cold always
(Still the dead one lay moaning)
I was much too far out all my life
And not waving but drowning.

Making new souls out of old trainers

Be an optimist, e.g. next week will be better, without overplanning the outcome.

Taking everyday as it comes with a positive attitude.

There is also preparation or planning to introduce to this.

So this does mean having a direction and investment in the future - commitment towards something.

I wish for everyone to have contentment and it is not for me to judge someone elses version of that.

It's all a matter of perspective - who or what is perceived as good or bad
ie someone who lives under a tarpaulin and scratching around for food, a wealthy person can look like bad and selfish and grreedy.

Wisdom comes from being detached from an individuals situation and also with age :)

Nice little chat
